Volunteers have been the glue that holds Mudfest together. They cheer runners across the finish line, help rebuild obstacles, stand through mud, and guide first-timers and returning participants alike. Mudfest simply does not happen without them.

As Volunteer Coordinator Jessica Poyer shares,
“Some obstacles wouldn’t be the same without the volunteer who’s put their own spin on it year after year. And nothing beats seeing first-timers in white sneakers leave muddy, smiling, and already planning to return.”
