Wendy Galler, a registered nurse at Mohawk Valley Health Systems, is looking forward to her second Mudfest this year. While she usually works weekends, this year she has the weekend off and is able to participate, and couldn’t be more thrilled.
“This year, I’ll be joined by family and friends – some for the first time,” she says. And, she’s excited for the after-party – and hopefully warmer weather, since Mudfest is later in April than usual.
In order to prepare for Mudfest, Wendy walks or runs daily, and plans to add some arm work to her routine. She encourages anyone who might be considering it to go for it and sign up.
“Just do it. It’s fun and everyone is super supportive. You’ll feel accomplished.”
